Hey Michael. I assume that this is Donncha’s Flickr Widget plugin which hasn’t been updated since 2006 or so. I’ve taken that a step further, with much more options. You might wanna take a look at Quick Flickr Widget for WordPress: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-flickr-widget/

You can output your photos using your flickr screenname or a flickr rss address. It doesn’t use json functions and you can bypass the file_get_contents() php function (which isn’t available on all shared hosting accounts) by activating javascript mode. You can also enable the Thickbox feature and a bunch of others.

The plugin’s at its development stage though, so more yet to come ;)

    Thanks,
    K ~

This tutorial is for the Flickr widget that is part of WordPress.com hosted blogs. If you’re using self-hosted WordPress, then the best place for you to seek help is on the WordPress.org support forums.

If you’re using WordPress.com, please double-check with the support instructions given here if you’re having trouble with this one, and once you’ve been through that and double-checked that you’re entering your Flickr RSS feed address correctly, please contact Support and they will be happy to help you further.
