I want to remove some of the stuff under Meta. Can anyone help? Tks

The content of the Meta widget (as it’s a “core” widget) is always the same, and it can’t be edited from within the WordPress admin interface.

    TQ Ryan.

Why would I want just anyone to be able to get into my dashboard. I don’t get it. Yes, I watched the video. If people get into your dashboard cant’they change your posts? I looked at other blogs and they don’t have this showing on their posted pages. Can it be removed? I have tried for two hours to figure out how to remove it and can’t figure it out. If you remove it can you change your mind and bring it back?

    • Ryan Markel Says:

Only those who are logged in and have been granted Dashboard access to you blog will be able to use it. You can remove or add the Meta widget using the Appearance > Widgets control panel.

Ryan you seem to know what you are doing. Believe it or not, I can’t find anyone I personally know that knows anything about Twitter. I have written a few articles and would like to get it out there into the real world but I’m not sure I have set things up properly. Intially I thought I did, but I have written some articles recently and have had no one look at them. So, I think they are not available for everyone to see. Please help me if you can or tell me where to go to get help. I’m learning but want to move faster but seem to be stuck. I’m also looking to leave comments on another blog but can’t figure how to do it. I know, I sound sort of stupid, but I’m really not. I see these responses that have RT@someones address(I think) what is “Tweet Deck”? Can you help me?
