Victor Granic: Steps to Securing WordPress

WordPress is not inherently insecure. There’s a dedicated WordPress security team focused on addressing security issues (Anyone know who’s part of that team?). They’re taking it seriously these days. Thing is, WordPress is only one small part of the big picture. Let’s continue and look at the other parts.

    Victor gives a lot of useful security tips, mostly for advanced users comfortable with editing .htaccess and wp-config.php files, but some tips are for intermediate users too. The Resources section at the end of his corresponding blog post has lists of guides, plugins and utilities.
