In 2003, Mike Little and Matt Mullenweg took control of an abandoned blogging platform – and turned it into the CMS which today powers 18% of the web.

In this interview recorded at the WordPress 10th birthday party held in Manchester, England, Mike tells Code For The People’s Simon Dickson the story of those early days – from his first exposure to computers in the 1970s, to the fateful comment left on Matt Mullenweg’s blog, to his rather slow realisation of what WordPress had become.
