			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:06.000" end="00:00:09.000">this tutorial will show you one way how.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:09.000" end="00:00:12.000">First of all, head to the Plugins menu and go to Add New.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:12.000" end="00:00:15.000">You&#039;re then going to want to run a search for &#34;Wickett Twitter&#34;—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:15.000" end="00:00:18.000">that&#039;s with two T&#039;s—and then run a search.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:18.000" end="00:00:21.000">Once you see that, scroll on over here to Install</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:21.000" end="00:00:24.000">and click on the Install Now button.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:24.000" end="00:00:27.000">Next step: click on Activate Plugin</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:27.000" end="00:00:30.000">and when that&#039;s been activated,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:30.000" end="00:00:33.000">you&#039;ll now find that you can use an extra widget in your widget selection,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:33.000" end="00:00:36.000">so head to Appearance » Widgets,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:36.000" end="00:00:39.000">and then added to the selection you&#039;ll now see that there&#039;s one for Twitter.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:39.000" end="00:00:42.000">So now, all I need to do is drag this into one or more of my sidebars,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:42.000" end="00:00:45.000">because I can actually show the results from more than one Twitter account.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:45.000" end="00:00:48.000">So I&#039;m going to drop this here in my main sidebar</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:48.000" end="00:00:51.000">and then give it a title.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:51.000" end="00:00:54.000">In this case, I&#039;m going to call it &#34;My latest tweets&#34;.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:54.000" end="00:00:57.000">Put in your Twitter username,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:57.000" end="00:01:00.000">and then you can decide to show either your—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:00.000" end="00:01:03.000">just your latest one, or anything up to twenty</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:03.000" end="00:01:06.000">of your latest tweets.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:06.000" end="00:01:09.000">I&#039;m going to just stick with the default five.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:09.000" end="00:01:12.000">You can also choose to hide replies: those &#34;@username&#34; replies</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:12.000" end="00:01:15.000">to other people, if you just want to show the non-reply content.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:15.000" end="00:01:18.000">I&#039;m going to leave that as it is, and then finally there&#039;s the option to show</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:18.000" end="00:01:21.000">a little bit of text between the body of your tweet and the timestamp that follows it.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:21.000" end="00:01:24.000">So for instance, I&#039;m just going to write down here</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:24.000" end="00:01:27.000">&#34;space – tweeted&#34; and you&#039;ll see the results</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:27.000" end="00:01:30.000">when we take a look at the live web site.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:30.000" end="00:01:33.000">So I&#039;ve saved that up, and now let&#039;s have a look.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:33.000" end="00:01:36.000">Over here on the right in my sidebar, I&#039;ve got my latest tweets,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:36.000" end="00:01:39.000">all of the information, and then after the body, I&#039;ve got this word &#34;tweeted&#34;</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:39.000" end="00:01:42.000">which I added—which is not necessary. Finally, there&#039;s the timestamps,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:42.000" end="00:01:45.000">so if I click on that, that will take me to Twitter.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:45.000" end="00:01:48.000">And that&#039;s it; all set up.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:23.000" end="00:00:26.000">Give it a title to let people know what&#039;s happening—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:26.000" end="00:00:29.000">here I&#039;m going to just put something nice and simple like &#34;Tweets&#34;.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:29.000" end="00:00:32.000">Next up, you&#039;ll want to add your Twitter username, and if you have multiple sidebars</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:32.000" end="00:00:35.000">you can also drag multiple widgets in, with different usernames</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:35.000" end="00:00:38.000">if you have more than one Twitter account.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:38.000" end="00:00:41.000">So now we&#039;ve got that sorted;</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:41.000" end="00:00:44.000">the next thing we&#039;re going to look at is the maximum number of tweets to show,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:44.000" end="00:00:47.000">which is basically going to be anything from one—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:47.000" end="00:00:50.000">if you just want to show the latest update in your sidebar—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:50.000" end="00:00:53.000">right up to twenty, if you really want to show</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:53.000" end="00:00:56.000">a full cross-section of your stream. I&#039;m going to go with the default of five here.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:56.000" end="00:00:59.000">If you don&#039;t want to include replies to other people,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:59.000" end="00:01:02.000">and just your main messages,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:02.000" end="00:01:05.000">you can click here to hide all &#34;@username&#34; replies, and that will get rid of them for you.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:05.000" end="00:01:08.000">I&#039;m probably going to keep that in there,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:08.000" end="00:01:11.000">because I think the conversation&#039;s what Twitter is all about.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:11.000" end="00:01:14.000">Finally, you can add some text to display</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:14.000" end="00:01:17.000">between the tweet and the timestamp, which I&#039;ll show you</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:17.000" end="00:01:20.000">in just a moment. For now, let&#039;s just save this one up</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:20.000" end="00:01:23.000">and see how that looks in the sidebar of my blog.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:23.000" end="00:01:26.000">So here&#039;s how it looks live on my blog, and if I move over here to the right,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:15.000" end="00:00:18.000">Once that&#039;s open, you should see this page,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:18.000" end="00:00:21.000">and over on the right here, you can see &#34;Import a blog&#34;.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:21.000" end="00:00:24.000">Once you&#039;ve clicked on that, it&#039;s just a matter of</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:24.000" end="00:00:27.000">entering the URL (the web site address) of your blog.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:27.000" end="00:00:30.000">If you like you can also put the feed URL, but it&#039;s not necessary,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:30.000" end="00:00:33.000">so I&#039;m just going to put in here my WordPress blog,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:33.000" end="00:00:36.000">and it will automatically detect</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:36.000" end="00:00:39.000">where the feed is, to bring that content in.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:39.000" end="00:00:42.000">Then, I just need to click here to start importing.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:42.000" end="00:00:45.000">After a couple of moments,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:45.000" end="00:00:48.000">I&#039;ll now see all of my content for review to make sure</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:48.000" end="00:00:51.000">that I&#039;ve got the right content coming in to my Facebook account.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:00:57.000" end="00:01:00.000">it says &#34;Confirm Import&#34;. So, I&#039;ll click on that</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:00.000" end="00:01:03.000">and you&#039;ll now see that on my profile I&#039;ve got my latest notes—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:03.000" end="00:01:06.000">my latest blog posts—all there, so I can click through to those;</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:06.000" end="00:01:09.000">I also have the option, if I scroll down</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:09.000" end="00:01:12.000">to see the different ones that have been posted; people can add comments,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:12.000" end="00:01:15.000">just like they could to any other Facebook content,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:15.000" end="00:01:18.000">they can click on &#34;Like&#34;, or they can share it with other friends.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:18.000" end="00:01:21.000">That opens up a new dialog where they can add their own little note</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:10.000" end="00:01:13.000">maybe from Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Reader, for instance—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:13.000" end="00:01:16.000">you&#039;ll want to sign in. If you don&#039;t have one, </media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:16.000" end="00:01:19.000">clicking over here will remedy that in about a minute.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:19.000" end="00:01:22.000">Once you&#039;re signed in,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:22.000" end="00:01:25.000">click here to sign up for the analytics service.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:25.000" end="00:01:28.000">You&#039;ll want to put in the URL of your blog,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:28.000" end="00:01:31.000">a name for your account, which could be the name of your blog</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:31.000" end="00:01:34.000">or your name, or something about unicorns—</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:34.000" end="00:01:37.000">whatever works for you.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:37.000" end="00:01:40.000">Set your country, and then your time zone, and click here on &#34;Continue&#34;.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:40.000" end="00:01:43.000">On the next screen,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:43.000" end="00:01:46.000">you&#039;ll want to add some contact information. I&#039;ll spare you sitting</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:55.000" end="00:01:58.000">and I get the option of editing the default data settings if I&#039;m not comfortable.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:01:58.000" end="00:02:01.000">I click on &#34;Create New Account&#34;, and the next thing I&#039;ll see is a chunk of code.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:01.000" end="00:02:04.000">This is important, so copy-paste it to a plain-text editor,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:04.000" end="00:02:07.000">but not a word processor like Word or Pages,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:07.000" end="00:02:10.000">or leave the window open in a tab of your browser.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:10.000" end="00:02:13.000">We&#039;ll come back to that in a moment.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:13.000" end="00:02:16.000">Now, to get set up with WordPress.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:16.000" end="00:02:19.000">There are two ways you could do this: manually,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:19.000" end="00:02:22.000">or via one of several plugins that streamline the process for you.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:28.000" end="00:02:31.000">There are plenty to choose from,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:31.000" end="00:02:34.000">so if you decide to go this way,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:34.000" end="00:02:37.000">each has its own set of instructions.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:37.000" end="00:02:40.000">If you prefer to do things the manual way, without using a plugin,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:40.000" end="00:02:43.000">here&#039;s how to do it:</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:43.000" end="00:02:46.000">You&#039;ll want to head back to Google Analytics and copy that chunk of code</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:46.000" end="00:02:49.000">you were given to your Clipboard with a right or control-click.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:49.000" end="00:02:52.000">And then—back in WordPress—go to the Appearance menu</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:52.000" end="00:02:55.000">and select the Editor option.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:55.000" end="00:02:58.000">Next, you&#039;ll want to open up the file</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:02:58.000" end="00:03:01.000">called &#34;footer.php&#34; from the sidebar over here.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:01.000" end="00:03:04.000">When that appears in your editor, </media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:22.000" end="00:03:25.000">I can see next to the name of my blog that the status icon here</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:25.000" end="00:03:28.000">is telling me that the account hasn&#039;t synced up yet with WordPress.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:28.000" end="00:03:31.000">Don&#039;t let this worry you; it can take up to twenty-four hours</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:31.000" end="00:03:34.000">to get up and running and start sharing the information you want to track.</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:34.000" end="00:03:37.000">If—after that—you still have problems,</media:text>

			<media:text type="plain" lang="en" start="00:03:37.000" end="00:03:40.000">check the inline help to make sure you did everything right.</media:text>
