I saw this presentation at WordCamp Portland. It was outstanding. There is a ton of good information for speeding up a WordPress site. Techniques like JavaScript caching apply to all websites, not just those running on WordPress.
If everyone were to apply these techniques, it would significantly reduce the amount of energy required to power the Web. So don’t call yourself green until you have greenified your website and server!
