December 9, 2019 — Hai mai pensato che un tuo hobby potesse diventare il tuo lavoro? Se sì, cosa hai fatto affinché potessi realizzare quel sogno o desiderio?

Col mio talk intendo raccontarvi come ho iniziato a creare il mio sito per hobby e, dopo 30 mesi mi sono trovata davanti ad una compagnia che ha ammirato questa mia passione e mi ha offerto il mio primo lavoro da web developer.

Navigando nel web alla ricerca di un evento su WordPress ho scoperto i WordCamp e la possibilità di partecipare come volontario.
Ho chiuso gli occhi e, ignorando la timidezza, è iniziata la mia avventura nella community che vi racconterò in questo talk.

Perché sembrano restare bloccate in una sorta di limbo?

Spesso si cerca di colmare le lacune tecniche che abbiamo ignorando invece la cosa più importante: la nostra attitudine, il modo in cui ci poniamo e con cui affrontiamo le sfide.

December 5, 2019 — Cosa succede quando un progetto finisce? Quasi sempre si passa al successivo, subito, senza fermarsi un attimo. Questo però può portare alla reiterazione di alcuni errori o commettere i medesimi sbagli, sia che si lavori da soli che in gruppo.

Come evitarlo?
Con le Retrospettive: momenti in cui riflettiamo sul progetto o sul modo in cui lavoriamo per capire cosa cambiare.

Andremo quindi a vedere come organizzarne una, gli strumenti e come gestire al meglio questo momento importantissimo.

December 5, 2019 — La prima impressione è quella che conta, ma per molti questo può essere un problema. Essere lontani dai canoni che la società impone per un determinato ruolo, può rappresentare uno svantaggio e potrebbe addirittura ostacolare la nostra realizzazione personale, ad esempio, facendoci desistere dal metterci in gioco. La bella notizia è che, in realtà, la maggior parte delle volte, lo svantaggio è solo apparente e questo talk sarà una vera e propria dimostrazione pratica.
