March 31, 2026 — Build Reliable Features for WordPress and WooCommerce Yourself with AI
For many WordPress projects, the rule of thumb had long been: there’s a plugin for every feature. With AI-powered development, this approach began to shift. More and more features could be implemented directly and in a controlled manner—without unnecessary dependencies and with better maintainability.
The keynote explores how AI tools were concretely transforming development for WordPress and WooCommerce. It examines which workflows were already working reliably, where clear limitations exist, and which technical details need to be considered to use AI effectively and safely in the WordPress context. The focus is on realistic use cases rather than tool hype.
The meetup is aimed at developers of all skill levels as well as interested users who want to understand how AI was changing WordPress and WooCommerce development.
This meetup was a joint, fully online event organized by the Zurich WordPress and WooCommerce Meetups. It was held in German.
