If your company sells products or services to consumers in the EU, you likely need to comply to new legislation. You can wait and see what happens, like many did with the GDPR, but you can also make sure you’re prepared. In 10 minutes I’m going to show you the steps you can take in the coming weeks, to get ready. No, you won’t be compliant yet, unless your website or app is already fully accessible, but you can show you’re doing the work.

December 24, 2024 — Tijdens WordPress Meetups en andere WordCamps is er genoeg gesproken over toegankelijkheid. Hoewel inmiddels velen dénken dat ze toegankelijkheid wel doorhebben (dat is iets met kleurcontrast toch, en zinvolle linkteksten?) blijkt dat in de praktijk niet zo te zijn. Ik wil laten zien waar toegankelijkheid echt over gaat, voor wie het verplicht is om toegankelijke websites en apps te hebben, en hoe dat er in de praktijk uit ziet.
