March 22, 2017 — This talk covers the basic code requirements that are checked by the WordPress theme review team before allowing a theme to be included in the repository.

I will discuss what the requirements are for repository themes, how to check them, tools that can help, and reasons why you might want to perform your own theme review even if your theme is not being submitted to the repository.

In this talk, we discuss how to write an in-depth review of a plugin or theme. This talk will cover what data to collect, how to put a plugin or theme through its paces, and how to share the review in a compelling format for the benefit of your reader.

July 28, 2016 — 「BG-PhotoFrame」というアクセシビリティ対応のWordPressテーマを作成し、
テーマレビューを経て公式ディレクトリへ掲載されました。

アクセシビリティ対応のテーマが掲載されるにはアクセシビリティのテーマレビューを受ける義務が発生し、
通過するのには様々な対処が必要となってきます。
現在、公式ディレクトリに掲載されているテーマは4000個近くに対して、アクセシビリティ対応のテーマは
100個余りしかなく、この数字から見ても貴重な体験だったと思います。
そこでテーマレビュー時にどんなことを言われてどう直したのか、掲載されて良かった点などをお話しします。
