May 21, 2017 — Elle est loin l’époque où WordPress était un simple moteur de blog, un outil parmi d’autres dont la seule fonction était la publication de contenus à lire en ordre chronologique inverse.
Pas un mois ne s’écoule maintenant sans que des thèmes ou des extensions ne viennent enrichir la liste des applications pouvant être installées par la plateforme. E-commerce, sites de réservation, plateformes de petites annonces, ERP… une liste qui semble s’allonger sans fin.
Selon les études récentes, WordPress propulse aujourd’hui plus d’un quart du Web, mais les chiffres ne sont que des indicateurs. Ce dont je vais parler dans cette conférence, ce sont les raisons d’un tel succès, en partageant quelques-unes de mes expériences en tant que développeur, mais aussi en tant qu’entrepreneur.
Je présenterai en quelques exemples comment WordPress et sa palette d’outils permettent aussi bien au startupper débutant de se constituer une plateforme, qu’au développeur pur et dur de créer des outils aussi complexes qu’un système d’information sans y perdre sa santé !
