When a large business decides to adopt WordPress as its main web platform, finding how to master, scale and optimize WordPress to support large traffic spikes becomes the challenge.

In this talk I will share the problems encountered, solutions devised and results of two years of successful employment of WordPress to run the website of a mobile operator.
