Wir leben nicht lange genug um alle Fehler selber zu machen, daher ist es eine gute Idee von den Fehlern anderer zu lernen. In diesem Talk geht es um Fehler die wir einfach nicht vermeiden können und solche, die man besser nicht machen sollte. Es geht um falsche Kalkulation, Fehler im Design, schlechte Inhalte, technische Unzulänglichkeiten und um das Wichtigste: Fehler in der Kommunikation. Als WP-Freelancer ist man oft für alle Bereiche eines Webprojektes verantwortlich – und damit auch zwangsläufig für Dinge, die man selber nicht wirklich gut kann. Wer sich dessen bewußt ist wird weniger falsch machen und damit bessere Projekte mit mehr Freude daran umsetzen.

So kann man sofort mit dem Programmieren loslegen, WordPress ist vorinstalliert, Wunsch-Plugins sind aktiviert, WordPress-Codingstandards greifen und eine kontextsensitive Suche in der WordPress-Dokumentation ist auch dabei. Mit buchstäblich einem Klick kann man einen Codespace eröffnen und sofort an einem Plugin oder Theme arbeiten, man muss keine lokale Entwicklungsumgebung mehr aufsetzen.

On this topic, Utsav will talk about why Work-Life Balance is important, how one can achieve it, and what companies can do to make it easier for their team members. He will talk about the 8-8-8s and the untold 12-12 of our daily life. Developers tend to have a very hectic and unplanned schedule and most of their work is brain work. They tend to fog their brain hence losing health as well as not being able to deliver. Which is what he will address in this session.
