In this social learning space, we explored how to edit the header and footer of a block theme using the Site Editor. We also learned how to completely redesign these areas and how to add unique headers and footers on different page templates.

March 29, 2022 — Thema des Vortrages: Wie alltägliche Arbeitsschritte, wie: Installation, Update, Löschen von Themes und Plugins oder sogar den Umzug auf eine andere Domain, über das Terminal viel schneller umgesetzt werden können.

Gezeigt wurden dazu die gebräuchlichsten Linux-Befehle, eine verschlüsselte Datenverbindung per „Secure Shell Protocol” (SSH) und wie Aufgaben mit WP-CLI, dem „WordPress-Befehlszeileninterpreter”, viel schneller erledigt werden können sowie abschließend, wie der Zugriff per SSH auf eine produktive Seite erfolgt.

March 29, 2022 — Nach dem sehr erfolgreichen Jahresauftakt im Februar wollen wir ins in diesem Monat einem etwas spezielleren Thema widmen. Es geht darum, wie du mit sogenannten „Structured Data“ (strukturierte Daten) deine Inhalte in den Ergebnisseiten der Suchmaschine besser visualisierst. Damit kannst du u.U. das Ranking verbessern und mehr Klicks bekommen.

Insgesamt ein sehr spannendes Thema, was auch für Nicht-Techniker*innen viele Impulse bereithält. Oliver wird den Abend mit einem kleinen Überblick zum Thema eröffnen und so in die freue Diskussion überleiten. Im Anschluss bleibt sicher noch genügend Zeit für Fragen oder ein freies Netzwerken und dem Erfahrungsaustausch zu anderen WordPress-Themen.
