June 12, 2026 — How to Generate Thumbnails for Online Course Lessons on Learn WordPress — Contributors will help improve the visual experience of Learn WordPress by creating thumbnails for lessons published on Learn WordPress Lessons. Participants will review lesson titles and learning objectives, design clear and visually consistent thumbnails that represent the lesson topic, and follow Learn WordPress branding, accessibility, and design guidelines where available.

During Contributor Day, contributors can select lessons that need thumbnails, create optimized visuals using preferred design tools, and submit their work for review by the Training Team. This activity is beginner-friendly and offers an opportunity to contribute to Learn WordPress while practicing content design, accessibility, and collaboration skills.
