April 21, 2017 — In 2013 I took on the job of creating an eCommerce site for Westlake Pro, a Pro Audio retailer in Los Angeles. What started as a fairly modest MVP launch, ballooned into a 10,000+ product giant, that also included a blog, and recording studio design site. March 14, 2017 — In this talk I’ll show how to integrate your WooCommerce store with other systems that power your business. Perhaps customer data needs to be available to a CRM system, or the order data needs to be updated by the warehouse’s inventory system. All of this functionality an more can be harnessed by using WooCommerce’s built in REST API!

January 3, 2017 — As a WooCommerce Happiness Engineer, I’ve worked with WooCommerce stores for over two years. However, only in October of this year did I create a live WooCommerce store with physical products for the first time.

In this talk, I’ll focus on the challenges in setting up a WooCommerce store in Africa, but also on its potential and quick wins. I’ll share my experiences with handing over the project to the store owner and give some tips on setting boundaries.

By the end of the talk, you should have a good overview of the considerations when starting a WooCommerce project, especially in making sure that you can hand over to your client smoothly.

El objetivo de la charla tiene explicar cuando y que modelo de proceso de pagos usar, tres pasos, campos, formatos o 1 click. Con ejemplos reales de diferentes tamaños, así como ejemplos de como lo resuelven otras plataformas o servicios. También con algunos datos de cuales convierten mas y que factores ayudan a convertir mejor. Finalizando en como un proceso de checkout se integra con una pasarela de pagos.
