The Top Posts widget for WordPress.com displays a list of your most often visited posts in the sidebar of your blog. If you’d like to learn more about it, check out the WordPress.com support article.
At 4 seconds into the clip it shows a screen shot that says, “Top Posts are calculated from 24-48 hours of stats. They take a while to change.” That must mean they’re calculated from page views — if they were calculated from comments, that would neither require stats nor 24-48 hours.

What determines the most popular post? The number of comments, or the number of clicks WordPress tracks? Can I change the order manually?
