Leiden, a small city in the Netherlands close to Amsterdam, hosted the first WordCamp Europe in 2013. Now, five years later and five WordCamps Europe later, the next one will be in Belgrade in 2018. In this talk, I will ask and answer some questions like “Why is WordCamp Europe that important to this part of the world” and how “Leiden changed everything”.
