Starting a WordPress Meetup: The highs and lows

I’ve recently embarked on the journey of setting a WordPress Meetup for Arabic speakers. There’s a scarcity of content in the Arabic language (and other languages too), so here’s how I planned and started the meetup. It took a few months to kickstart, so I’ll share best practices, what to avoid and how to succeed.

We are going through the same down here in New Zealand. We ran a large meetup group from 2013 but once covid arrived, it shut down and was never restarted. I am now looking to start it up again, but online. Any thoughts or ideas welcomed. https://wordhost.co.nz/wordpress-meetups/
