Too many WordPress projects end up as one-offs. Each team builds differently, each site drifts, and technical debt piles up. Block themes give us a chance to change that. I will share how my team uses block theme standards to scale large projects. We start with a starter theme, add a library of reusable patterns, and manage design through theme.json. I will also talk about what works and what fails in onboarding, QA, and balancing editor freedom with long-term maintainability.
