April 16, 2023 — Wir beleuchten Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen bei der Integration von AI-Tools in WordPress. Wir zeigen Grenzen aber auch Zukunftsperspektiven bei der Verwendung von künstlicher Intelligenz in WordPress-Entwicklung, sowie bei der Erstellung von Websites.

April 16, 2023 — Social Media? Nutzen viele von uns seit Jahren. Aber die aktuellen Vorgänge rund um Twitter zeigen uns auch die Grenzen der bisherigen Plattformen. Dabei gibt es seit einigen Jahren durchaus einen Gegenentwurf, das „Fediverse“: Dezentral gehostete Instanzen, die über ein gemeinsames, standardisiertes Protokoll (das ActivityPub-Protokoll) miteinander kommunizieren und eine gegenseitige Vernetzung unabhängig davon ermöglichen, auf welcher Plattform mein Gegenüber ist.

Der Haupt-Matador ist hier eindeutig Mastodon. Ein Dienst mit inzwischen über 9 Mio. Benutzer auf gut 17000 Instanzen. Daneben gibt es aber auch noch eine Reihe weiterer Anwendungen, die das ActivityPub-Protokoll verstehen und mit denen man am Fediverse teilnehmen kann.

In diesem Onlinevortrag wollen wir uns einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten verschaffen – und zeigen, wie wir auch unsere WordPress-Sites dort integrieren können.
