October 18, 2018 — Am 25. Mai ist die Datenschutzgrundverordnung (DSGVO) in Kraft getreten. Nachdem sich die erste Aufregung gelegt hat, nutzt Udo Meisen, Jurist aus Köln, die Gelegenheit um die ersten Erfahrungen der Online-Welt mit der DSGVO näher zu beleuchten. Anschließend schlägt er die Brücke und gibt einen Ausblick auf die anstehende ePrivacy-Verordnung. Stand heute wird diese voraussichtlich Mitte/Ende 2019 rechtsverbindlich werden. Hiervon sind sowohl das Online-Marketing, als auch der Betrieb vieler „normaler“ Websites direkt betroffen.

October 9, 2018 — GDPR has a special impact to Actuarial work, which deals with numbers, portfolios and requires personal data in order to do the calculations for pricing along the value chain for insurers. Actuarial work is often outsourced and requires the access of data.

October 4, 2018 — The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will become law in 2018 and effects how we need to store and manage data for people in the EU. After Brexit, it’ll still effect how we handle customers in the EU’s data. The 100ish page GDPR covers all sorts of telecommunications and electronic data so this talk aims to tell web designers and developers the essentials they need to know in an easy to digest format so that they can help their clients (and themselves) stay inline with the legal requirements, from discussing considerations for big databases through to simple newsletter sign ups.

October 4, 2018 — WordPress je celosvetovo najobľúbenejší redakčný nástroj na tvorbu a správu blogov a web stránok. Neustále sa vyvíja a jeho popularita z roka na rok rastie.
WordPress spája ľudí na celom svete – tvorí ho živá a zapálená komunita ľudí, nadšencov a vývojárov. Každý rok sa vo viacerých väčších či menších mestách organizuje obľúbená WordPress konferencia, ktorá nesie názov WordCamp a dopĺňa ju názov mesta v ktorom sa koná.

July 25, 2018 — Jako mediální bublinu, která určitě brzy splaskne. 😊 Je důležité věnovat ochraně osobních údajů pozornost a péči. Na druhou stranu GDPR není žádnou závratnou revolucí, jak média často naznačují. Povinnosti, které nám GDPR „přináší“, máme plnit prakticky již několik let – máme tu zákon o ochraně osobních údajů z roku 2000, který se od GDPR tolik neliší. Mediálně zajímavé se téma stalo hlavně díky navýšení maximálních pokut z 10 milionu korun na 20 milionů EUR
