  • Γιώργος Ματθιόπουλος: Είναι πολυτέλεια η τυπογραφική τέχνη στη διαδικτυακή επικοινωνία;

    WordCamp Athens 2016Speaker: Γιώργος Ματθιόπουλος

    January 22, 2017 — Η λογαριθμικά αυξανόμενη χρήση των ψηφιακών συσκευών πληροφόρησης έχει οδηγήσει σε ένα περιβάλλον παραγωγής και ανταλλαγής περιεχομένου το οποίο βρίσκεται είτε υπό τον έλεγχο ειδικών στην επιστήμη των υπολογιστών είτε πλέον του απλού χρήστη, συχνά όμως με ελλειπή αίσθηση ή ενδιαφέρον για τη σπουδαιότητα της παρουσίασης του μηνύματος στην οθόνη. Επιπλέον, η ταχύτητα με την οποία νέα κοινωνικά στρώματα και ηλικιακές ομάδες έχουν εισέλθει στον χώρο ως παραγωγοί και καταναλωτές οδηγεί στην ανάγκη ευαισθητοποίησης όλων στους βασικούς κανόνες αισθητικής και αρμονικής αλληλεπίδρασης παραμέτρων όπως οι τυπογραφικοί χαρακτήρες, οι εικόνες, η χρήση και ψυχολογία του χρώματος, η οργάνωση του χώρου κ.ά.

    Η τυπογραφία ιδιαίτερα αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό πεδίο της οπτικής επικοινωνίας για το οποίο λίγοι έχουν ικανές γνώσεις και εμπειρία για τους τρόπους λειτουργίας και χρήσης της, αλλά τους παρέχεται πλέον η δυνατότητα να τη διαχειρίζονται κατά βούληση.

    Στην ομιλία θα περιγραφεί αδρά το ιστορικό και αισθητικό πεδίο της διαμόρφωσης του ελληνικού και λατινικού αλφάβητου και η παρουσίαση θα εστιάσει στην τυπογραφική-σχεδιαστική εξέλιξη των γραμμάτων, την τεχνολογική τους παραγωγή και εφαρμογή τόσο στο αναλογικό όσο και στο ψηφιακό περιβάλλον, τα πλεονεκτήματα, τους περιορισμούς και τις άλλες παραμέτρους που καθοδηγούν την επιτυχημένη επικοινωνία του μηνύματος και την παραγωγή δημιουργικού, άρτιου και ευανάγνωστου αποτελέσματος μέσα από τη σωστή επιλογή και εφαρμογή των γραμματοσειρών.
