Firefox has an emulator as well, just press Ctrl + Shift + M.
Foundation is really strong, but as a developer who focuses on optimizations as well, I prefer using the SASS version, include what I need and compile my minified CSS. Foundation out of the box is really large and most probably you can get rid of 75% of the stuff included.

Foundation is an advanced framework that allows developers to quickly build future-friendly websites. Foundation CSS performs the heavy lifting so that you can concentrate on the creative. Steve will show you how he uses Foundation to focus on mobile-first design and why Foundation is the perfect companion to Underscores.
