Key takeaways – Key questions to ask your client to help the website connect with their clients – Clients you should probably avoid – How to reduce frustration, miscommunication and rework – Getting great reviews – Handing over the site – Retaining the client.

August 16, 2018 — Did you know? WordPress is changing!
As we speak WordPress is going through one of the biggest technological revolutions in its existence. The editing screen is being replaced by a brand new JavaScript-based editor. The project to make this all happen is named Gutenberg, after Johannes Gutenberg; the inventor of the printing press. This tells you something about the ambitions behind this project.
In this talk I’ll give a demo of the new editor, explain what’s about to change and reflect on the opportunities and risks this entails. After this talk, you will have a better understanding of… – how the process of content creation in WordPress is going to change. – what could break if you have plugins installed which add functionality to the post edit screen. – the potential (business) opportunities related to the big changes that are coming.
