June 27, 2022 — Online learning has gone through an incredible growth during the recent pandemic.
Although installing and setting up a WooCommerce LMS plugin to sell courses is a breeze, creating the actual online course content is a complex operation.
From brainstorming possible topics to defining modules and lessons, from writing the sales page to picking the correct price, from designing the “course brand” to choosing a customer persona, from recording lessons to editing videos, and finally from selling courses to managing students, there is a lot of work to be done.
We’ll use worksheets to create your very own online course, so that you can start recording tomorrow and put it for sale in a month.

Ecco, senza PHP “you go nowhere” e nel talk partiremo letteralmente da zero per poi cercare di capire le basi del PHP e come utilizzarlo per modificare un sito WordPress/WooCommerce.
PHP è difficile solo per ricordarsi il significato dell’acronimo – per il resto è un linguaggio di programmazione divertente, intuitivo e allo stesso tempo… pericoloso. Basta dimenticarsi un punto e virgola e l’intero sito può andare offline 🙂
Lo scopo di questo talk sarà convincere i non programmatori a provare a scrivere un paio di righe di PHP anziché scaricare “yet another plugin”. Se ci sono riuscito io che non sono un programmatore…
November 2, 2020 — Yo! A gennaio la mia vita dovrebbe cambiare drasticamente (in positivo spero).
Problem is – ho un sito da 100,000 accessi al mese da gestire e altri 10 di mia proprietà, clienti esistenti e potenziali, lettori e commentatori del blog e, perché non essere masochisti, anche molti side-projects.
Col bimbo in arrivo devo pianificare, delegare, prevedere e organizzare il mio futuro, sia durante il parental leave (paternità), sia e soprattutto dopo, quando vorrò passare più tempo con il piccolo che davanti al PC.
Con questo talk ho intenzione non solo di stimolare me stesso a preparare un piano dettagliato che posso condividere con voi, ma anche ascoltare il vostro feedback per perfezionarlo e renderlo più realistico possibile.

April 24, 2018 — In 5 years of creating content on my WordPress website I’ve seen it all.
During the first 2 years I wasted time and energy to write blogs no one would read. Then I found my inspiration, my path, my content strategy – and in the last 3 years website traffic has risen from 0 to 15,000+ users per week. Now my blog is my only source of sales leads.
In this presentation, I’ll first and foremost describe what mistakes I made (what about saving 2 years of your life?) and then I’ll proceed to list the “10 Commandments of Content Marketing” – 10 simple tips you can take away to increase your website traffic and focus on the only purpose of content marketing: teaching.
In the final part of the talk, each commandment will be “translated” into WordPress. I will recommend plugins and WordPress strategies to implement the whole system – in fact, I’d consider this a failure unless you go back to your office and take action!
