October 27, 2016 — Never let it be said that this flying fat broad has body issues. Oh no. How many times have you needed to tweak a category of posts to make some element fit a little better? Or had a site with some content aimed at fashion-conscious adults – and another set of posts aimed at their kids? You could use all sorts of fancy taxonomy – custom post types or multisite, or some other foolishness. But I just don’t have the patience. But I do have a secret weapon. Body classes. They’ve gotten me out of more styling jams than Janet Jackson’s wardrobe staff. (Wait. That’s not saying much, is it?) Let’s take a look at how a good look through all those classes on your body tags can lead you to a world of styling options – with no malfunctions allowed.

October 5, 2016 — Dzięki tej prezentacji poznacie jak działa CSS Grid Layout. Natywny, czyli wbudowany w specyfikację CSS3. Na prostych przykładach zostaną zaprezentowane wielkie możliwości, jakie on posiada. Przy zastosowaniu tej metody żaden inny grid system nie będzie wam więcej potrzebny.

It has gained popularity amongst front end developers over the last year or so as browser support for it has increased dramatically. This talk will introduce the flexbox model, examine when to consider using flexbox in your projects, and will address browser compatibility issues you may encounter in implementing flexbox.

September 30, 2016 — We’re going to step into the process of starting your own WordPress theme by taking a basic html and css site. The main goal is to show folks that making your own isn’t difficult with a little knowledge of HTML & CSS, and diving in is the scariest part, and shouldn’t be. If you’ve ever developed a website from wireframes or mockups to html, turning it into a WordPress theme is just a few extra steps. Watch how Andy and Ben do it, and take your web skills to the next level with your own custom theme. Even if building custom themes isn’t a future goal, getting in and doing this can help when editing other themes and understanding the inner workings of WordPress.
