March 28, 2021 — A recent (Comscore) study suggests users spend more time (87%) on a native app compared to mobile web because native apps are more predictable, they work offline, show notifications, and have access to mobile sensors.
However, 78% of the time is spent in the user’s top three apps.
Mobile web has a better reach (100 visits/ month for an average user) but does not does have a native-like experience.
This talk explains how we can get the best of both worlds by using Progressive Web Apps with WordPress to combine the capabilities of native apps and the reach of the web.
December 25, 2019 — Nowadays everyone uses a smartphone and those smartphones contain applications from different providers.
Now those applications have some problems like cross-platform incompatibility, higher cost, etc.
The solution to this problem is the Progressive web app. It is fast, reliable, engaging. It is basically a type of application which is delivered through the web built with HTML, CSS, JS.
It can work on any platform which uses a standard-complaint browser. In the presentation, I will talk about the history of PWA, the technology used, examples, features, requirement and most importantly how to create PWA on WordPress based Websites.
August 2, 2019 — Vineet found his love for WordPress after he was introduced to it by a friend. This led him to develop numerous websites and making him want to crave for more to learn in WordPress. He has been associated with WordPress since 2012. He co-founded his first company at the age of 20. He is the Co-Founder and Technical Lead of FireMud FM, which is an online radio station based purely out of WordPress. and Indicium Crest – A remote web – development agency which is, again focused on WordPress. Now handing both the companies on technical front, his love for WordPress has just grown if nothing else. He has worked with over 55 projects remotely managing and developing them. He has also been associated with various ventures consulting and guiding them with technical resources and is currently located in Frankfurt, Germany.
Apart from developing the websites, he is a hobbyist photographer.

1. Reliable – Load instantly and even when you are offline.
2. Fast – Respond quickly to user interactions with silky smooth animations and no janky scrolling.
3. Engaging – Feel like a natural app on the device, with an immersive user experience.
WordPress as default doesn’t support PWA out of the box. By bringing performance first approach and enrich our user with PWA way, could bring better experience for our clients and users.
