WordPress Internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) happen through the Polyglot Project, which is driven by a team of passionate volunteers who provide translations for a specific language.

i18n and l10n are important contributions to WordPress as an Open Source project. Having WordPress available in all languages makes it accessible to everyone.

This panel discussion will focus on the Polyglots team’s efforts in India and the possible direction of WordPress translations in a diverse country like India with so many languages with so many varieties of scripts.
