February 7, 2024 — WordPress de forma nativa nos da la posibilidad de gestionar tanto páginas como entradas, es decir, contenido estático y contenido dinámico, pero no solo se queda en eso, sino que de forma nativa podemos extender estos tipos de contenido y si además recurrimos a plugins de terceros podemos llevar todavía más lejos toda esta funcionalidad hasta tal punto de poder crear un directorio de coches, de inmuebles, de discos de música, etc…

En esta charla veremos y nos familiarizaremos con conceptos como los Custom Post Types, tipos de contenido personalizados, los campos personalizados, mediante ACF, y la jerarquía de plantillas de WordPress. Con estos tres elementos podremos llevar a cabo infinidad de directorios, listados, portfolios, etc…

El objetivo de la charla no es sentar cátedra al respecto, sino mostrar una manera sólida y consistente de extender las funcionalidades de WordPress.
