February 7, 2019 — This talk describes an ongoing developmental project for building a bespoke theme for a faculty. It includes the description of project requirements, the planning stages, and the actual development. It highlights the uniqueness of building a theme for an academic setup, and shares some of the difficulties in managing projects amidst other workloads.
February 7, 2019 — Progressive Web Application (PWA) is a new way to enhance user experience that reach our website. 3 components of PWA:
1. Reliable – Load instantly and even when you are offline.
2. Fast – Respond quickly to user interactions with silky smooth animations and no janky scrolling.
3. Engaging – Feel like a natural app on the device, with an immersive user experience.
WordPress as default doesn’t support PWA out of the box. By bringing performance first approach and enrich our user with PWA way, could bring better experience for our clients and users.

You’ll see a demo of attacks a CSP will block, you’ll see a site broken by a CSP, show what the different CSP directives & options will do and be introduced to some of the tools available to help with implementing a CSP on your sites!
