In 2019, Sally Thoun had never heard of a WordCamp, MeetUp, Wapuu, or GitHub. She had heard about Accessibility but wasn’t sure exactly what it was all about. She was intimidated to even touch or edit a website and left that to her agency developers.
But what a difference a year makes! Last summer, she dove headfirst into Accessibility and WordPress. This new direction became a rewarding and fulfilling journey. In this talk, Sally shares her experiences to inspire the same purpose and passion that the selfless WordPress and Accessibility community has inspired in her.
