• Cos’è una landing page, a cosa ti può servire e perché è importante;
• Come realizzare una landing page con WordPress e soprattutto una che funziona: gli aspetti da curare e gli errori da evitare;
• Gli strumenti e le tecniche per misurare e migliorare il successo di una landing page.
February 7, 2016 — What is a test? Why should one test? Who should test? What, when, and how should be tested? These questions and more are to be answered. Primarily, this session is aimed at developers. Designers, and (technical) project leads and managers, however, are addressed as well, because they also take a part in the development process, and hence testing.
While the talk will be given in German, the slides are in English. So even if you’re not a German native speaker, you should be able to follow.
February 4, 2016 — This session gives an introduction to how to test WordPress plugins with unit tests, focusing on the advantages it provides. We’ll have a look together at the main steps to set up a first test case.
January 16, 2016 — This is not a marketing presentation on how to get more conversions. In this presentation we’ll walk through best practices for integrating A/B testing tools and plugins like Visual Web Optimizer and Optimizely for WordPress. We will also look at how to properly setup template pages, embed tracking codes and how to manage your content and media for testing across multiple devices.

January 11, 2016 — The goal of this talk is to showcase examples of how your theme and plugin development can benefit from performing usability testing. After short introduction on usability testing, we will take a visual look into the user feedback and how you can base your plugin/theme improvements on it.
December 5, 2015 — The presentation will cover and list the needed steps to make a statistically valid split test on WordPress website which will improve the business. The usual pitfalls with test length, validity, proper preparation, alignment with business strategy will be covered and solutions provided. Tools for the testing process would be shortly covered as well.
November 28, 2015 — Todas las páginas web que existen en Internet tienen una razón de ser, un objetivo a satisfacer. El ejemplo más evidente es, quizás, el de una tienda electrónica, cuya principal finalidad es vender el mayor número de productos al mayor número de clientes posible. Otros ejemplos incluyen páginas de noticias, donde el objetivo puede ser conseguir que sus lectores se hagan con una suscripción de pago, o incluso un sencillo blog personal, donde el autor quiere, simplemente, aumentar su número de seguidores. El éxito de una página web se puede medir en función del número de usuarios que acaban cumpliendo el objetivo, es decir, comprando el producto que en ella se vende o completando el proceso de suscripción. En esta charla aprenderemos qué es A/B Testing y cómo puede ayudarnos a mejorar nuestro WordPress.

June 29, 2015 — Most businesses that use WordPress do not have the resources to do testing on their website. It does not matter if it’s UX testing, focus groups, A/B testing, conversion optimization, it’s all too time consuming and expensive. So unfortunately these businesses don’t structurally improve their website at all…
Luckily, the most effective improvements have been thoroughly tested by Amazon, Google, H&M and others. They only need to be implemented by a smart WordPress user!
